AMEN: Audio Interview With CASEY CHAOS Available

May 29, 2007

"Talking Metal"'s coverage of the 2007 edition of "VH1 Rock Honors" concludes with a Casey Chaos special. In this episode, hosts Mark Strigl and John Ostronomy catch up with the AMEN frontman at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV. Topics include AMEN, SCUM, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, THE DAMNED, Henry Rollins, black metal, and Anna Nicole Smith. The 30-minute podcast can be downloaded at this location. iTunes users can also subscribe to "Talking Metal" for free at this location.

As previously reported, AMEN will be featured musical guests on the current season of "The Henry Rollins Show" on the Independent Film Channel (IFC). The exact date for the band's performance will be announced soon.

"It was one of the biggest honors of my life," commented Casey Chaos on being asked to perform for the show. "Henry Rollins is the man. He's inspired generations of people with his words, integrity and music. I just happen to be one of those people's lives that were changed overnight. He inspired me and taught me what real music is all about and for him to ask us to be one of the few bands hand picked by him to perform each season… it's an honor beyond words."

While still recovering from a recent illness, Casey has been exclusively working on the upcoming new AMEN album(s). The group is also seeking competent representation worldwide "that can be trusted to handle the needs of a band such as [AMEN]," according to a press release. Interested parties can contact the group at [email protected].
